Survival
Growing up around violence, instability, changing schools and children's homes. Learning to endure when stability was not guaranteed.
From childhood abuse, children's homes and days without a place to stay to a master's degree and a career in management consulting.
A personal introduction is coming soon. In the meantime, explore my story, speaking topics and corporate workshops.
Get in touch ↗Some people start life with a safety net. I had to learn how to build one.
My journey included repeated violence and abuse, instability, time in children's homes, days of homelessness and financial hardship. It also included people who helped, choices that mattered, and the long road through education into professional life.
“Your beginning does not have to define your destination.”
Not a promise that life is fair. A belief that potential deserves a chance.
Growing up around violence, instability, changing schools and children's homes. Learning to endure when stability was not guaranteed.
Finding direction through education, persistence, relationships and opportunities — without pretending the journey was straightforward.
Building a career in engineering and management consulting, and using that perspective to help others see possibility beyond their starting point.
A professional path across engineering, the automotive industry and management consulting — shaped by work in and around internationally recognised organisations.
Selected organisations associated with my professional experience, including direct employment and project assignments. Company names are provided for career context and do not imply endorsement.
Through keynotes and talks, I connect lived experience with the realities of education, work and leadership. My talks explore resilience without romanticising hardship, and opportunity without ignoring structural barriers.
Enquire about a keynote ↗A personal keynote about adversity, education, turning points and the power of opportunity.
What organisations can learn about resilience, support systems and recognising overlooked potential.
How schools, employers and communities can help talent flourish regardless of background.
From presenting with confidence to navigating difficult conversations, I translate lessons from sales, procurement, management consulting and lived experience into practical workshops for teams and professionals.
Present ideas clearly, build confidence in high-stakes conversations and prepare for negotiations with a structured, practical approach.
Understand what is said — and what goes unsaid. Explore empathy, differing expectations, cultural perspectives and why the same message can be heard in different ways.
Become more intentional about how you show up, how others perceive you and how you turn self-awareness into purposeful action.
Workshops are tailored to audience needs and built around discussion, reflection and practical exercises. Specific formats, learning outcomes and availability are agreed individually.
Beyond the story, I am developing a practical approach to personal and professional growth: the 3P Method. It brings together three principles to help people move from reflection to intentional action.
Understanding how you show up and the impression you create.
Recognising how others see you and learning to broaden your perspective.
Turning clarity into focused decisions and purposeful action.
The 3P Method is an evolving framework. A companion workbook is being developed for future workshops.
The 3P Method is designed for individuals and organisations seeking to strengthen personal impact, communication and purposeful leadership.
Build self-awareness, executive presence and more effective communication.
Strengthen collaboration, perspective-taking and interpersonal effectiveness.
Develop confidence, personal positioning and the ability to communicate with impact.
Encourage self-belief, personal development and a clearer sense of direction.
I want young people who have experienced difficult childhoods to see that their future can hold more than their past suggests. The aim is to partner with schools and youth organisations for accessible talks, practical encouragement and pathways to opportunity.
Paid speaking engagements can help support this mission. The initiative is at an early stage; impact will be measured through real partnerships and feedback.
